GUIDELINES & CRITERIA FOR AWARDS
The Awards Committee would like to invite council submissions for 80th Anniversary awards.
- Nominating councils must be financial.
- Individuals nominated must be financial with their respective national and local organization, which in turn, must be financial with the local NPHC.
- First Place awards only for each category.
- Projects/programs submitted must have occurred between January and December 2009.
- SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Application must be typed.
- Submit with the completed, typed application:
- A typed essay (500 words maximum) explaining how the council has fully met the award criteria.
- Award statements must be documented (e.g., programs, newspaper clippings, commendations, event flyers and photographs(15 maximum), etc.). Documentation should be attached to submission form and be no larger than 8.5 x 11.
- Nomination forms must be typed and signed by the Council President
- The award form may be duplicated, if necessary.
SUBMISSION DEADLINES
The electronic submission deadline is Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
The awards categories are:
- Outstanding Council (graduate and undergraduate)
- Outstanding Council President (graduate and undergraduate)
- Outstanding Advisor
- Outstanding Soror/Frater of the Year (graduate and undergraduate)
