National Leadership Conference (NLC) Information
Leadership training is essential for members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council to succeed as representatives, officers and advocates in our communities. The 2013 Biennial National Leadership Conference (NLC) will focused on the needs of collegiate, alumni and Greek life staff through innovated, informative and educational programs. A variety of speakers and presenters have been invited to share information and ideas to take back to your councils.
Who Should Attend:
- Collegiate and Alumni members interested in supporting NPHC operations or program initiatives.
- Incoming or potential executive board officers.
- Experienced NPHC members who have served as members of an executive board seeking more advanced training.
- Greek life staff and advisors that are responsible for supporting and working with Collegiates.
National Leadership Conference Will Provide You:
- Leadership skills training to help you succeed as a member, in your council and within the community
- An update on NPHC activities, key initiatives and resources
- An opportunity to share ideas and best practices with your peers
- Networking opportunities with other NPHC members and national leadership
The National Convention and Planning Committee invites you to 67th Biennial NLC on October 24-27, 2013 at the JW Marriott, Houston, TX. Paper registration deadline is October 7, 2013 and online registration deadline is October 14, 2013. There is no onsite registration for this convention.
Call for Programs
National Pan-Hellenic Council is requesting suggestions for workshop topics for this conference.The theme this year is One NPHC: Ensuring Excellence of Our Members
and Community Through Education, Collaboration, and Advocacy. Submissions should include an abstract of 600 characters or less. Please do not repeat the program theme in your title. Please submit your proposals to execdirector@nphchq.org and programchair@nphchq.org by July 27, 2013.
Career Fair

During the convention, a career fair is available to attendees.. The career fair provides an opportunity to speak with employers to learn about career paths, as well as full-time, internship, or co-op employment opportunities; learn which skills and experiences increase your employment potential and how to better brand yourself to potential employers; and build a professional network that may enhance your chances of employment.
